Community Rules

1. Purpose of O-Community

O-Community is a platform designed to connect people, clubs and organizations within the international orienteering community. The platform is intended to help users find people, skills, cooperation and opportunities related to orienteering.

2. Acceptable Listings

Listings should be relevant to the purpose of O-Community. Examples include:

• Offering or seeking orienteering mapping services.
• Coaching, training and mentoring.
• Photography, video and media services.
• Technical, web development and digital support.
• Club cooperation and partnerships.
• Volunteering and help with club activities.
• Event organization and operational support.
• Exchange of skills, knowledge and services.
• Other opportunities directly related to orienteering.

3. Prohibited Content

Users must not publish content that:

• Violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Contains scams, fraud or intentionally misleading information.
• Contains spam or repeated irrelevant content.
• Harasses, threatens or targets other people.
• Contains hateful or discriminatory content.
• Publishes another person's private information without permission.
• Infringes intellectual property or other rights of third parties.
• Is unrelated to the purpose of O-Community.
• Attempts to abuse, manipulate or disrupt the platform.

4. Event Promotion

O-Community is not intended to function as a general event calendar or a platform for directly advertising individual races and competitions.

Listings whose primary purpose is simply to promote an event, race or competition may be removed. However, listings related to finding people, services or cooperation for an event may be permitted when they are relevant to the purpose of O-Community.

5. Moderation and Content Removal

We reserve the right to review, restrict, edit or remove listings, content or accounts that violate these Community Rules, applicable law or the purpose of O-Community.

We may also remove or restrict content when necessary to protect the community, prevent abuse, maintain the quality of the platform or preserve the purpose of O-Community.

We may take action without prior notice when we consider it necessary to protect users or the platform.

6. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for the content they publish on O-Community. Users should ensure that their listings are accurate, lawful and do not infringe the rights of other people or organizations.

7. User and Listing Reliability

O-Community provides a platform for users to connect. We do not guarantee the identity, qualifications, reliability, availability or performance of any user, club or organization using the platform.

Users are responsible for evaluating opportunities and communicating with other users before entering into any agreement or cooperation.

9. Changes to These Rules

We may update these Community Rules from time to time. Changes will be published on this page together with an updated date.
